On our campus in Etterbeek, we are regularly visited by a fox. Yes, a real fox. And it is certainly welcome, because it helps us in our battle against pests such as mice and rats. And because the fox makes such an impression on our students, they decided to make him the VUB mascot. And so it happens that the VUB fox is a vital component of our student events. In fact, the student sports teams also defend our VUB colours as the 'VUB foxes’. Opponents: be warned!
