Once a business economics student at VUB, today prime minister. Alexander De Croo visited our campus in Etterbeek to give a lecture on democracy and citizenship, at the invitation of student union LVSV Brussel and KEPS VUB. It was our opportunity to ask him some questions.

Alexander De Croo says he gained a lot from his studies at VUB. β€œAt VUB you take away so much more than just the academic: to have respect for everyone, to deal with differences of opinion, to manage, to deal with things that don’t work. The first election I ever took part in was here at VUB, and I lost it. And perhaps the most important thing is curiosity.”
