After rain comes sunshine, or in this case, after exam period comes a well-deserved holiday. The course-free week after the first exam period is well known as a ski holiday. Students travel together by bus to the destination of their choice.
This year there are two destinations: ‘Les Orres’ in the French Alpes and ‘Pas de la casa’ in Andorra.
The organisations and destinations are the biggest differences between the two trips. Both will take you by bus from the VUB to the Ski resort on Friday the 2nd of February, and bring you back on the 11th. There are even buses that leave on Saturday 3rd February to ensure that even the students whose exams end on Friday can join.
International students that aren’t planning to go home during the course-free week are very welcome to join. Not only is this a fun way to spend a holiday, but it’s also a good way to get to know some Belgian students.
The registration form for the trips is only available in Dutch. International students who want to register should contact the ski team of the student organisations if they need help with their registration. The organisers of ‘Les orres’ and ‘Pas de la casa’ can be reached via e-mail at vubskireis2018@gmail.com and skiteam.vub@gmail.com respectively.
