Dr Lisa Huygen has been awarded the LEO Pharma Innovation Grant 2023 by the Royal Belgian Society for Dermatology and Venereology. The grant supports innovative R&D projects in dermatology and is worth €15,000. Dr Huygen is a specialist in training in Dermatology at UZ Brussel. She worked with the BRIGHTcore team at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel to submit her project “Unravelling the pathophysiology of neutrophilic dermatoses”.
The aim of this grant is to support and encourage innovation in dermatology that results in healthier skin.
