Orientation Days Programme Faculty of Law & Criminology

As a new VUB student, your academic year starts with the Welcome Days. The programme include a range of useful information sessions and fun activities to help you feel at home from day one. You will receive essential information to help you get off to a strong start and gain a clear idea of what to expect as a new VUB student. And of course, you will get to know the campus facilities, your fellow students, and your study programme!

For who?

For all new bachelor’s, master’s, bridging, and preparatory programme students at the Faculty of Law & Criminology at VUB.

What's on the agenda?

Please consult your timetable to find out where and when you are expected. We expect you to be present for the entire day.

Facultair welcome
During the faculty welcome, you will discover everything you need to get a smooth start to your programme. You will receive information about your timetable, books and course materials, the functioning of the faculty, and practical matters such as the allocation of tutorial groups. You will also meet your Dean, study advisors, and student associations. In short: this is the ideal moment to find your way around VUB and to learn who you can turn to with any questions.

Programma welcome
During the programme welcome, we will take a closer look at everything specific to your study programme. You will learn how your curriculum is structured, which courses you will take, how tutorials are organised, and what is expected of you during the academic year. You will also receive practical tips from your programme team and find out who to contact for content-related questions.
