As a new VUB student, your academic year starts with the Orientation Days. The programme combines useful information sessions with fun activities to help you feel at home from day one. You’ll receive all the essential information for a strong start, get a clear idea of what to expect, and get to know the campus facilities, your fellow students and your programme!

Faculty Welcome
During the Faculty Welcome Session, you’ll discover everything you need to start smoothly at VUB. You’ll receive information about your class schedule, books and course materials, how the faculty works, and more practical information.
Campus Tour
Building Q? Aula Q? And where was it again that you could have lunch, study, do sports or have a drink?
No worries, experienced VUB-students will guide you through you new campus and show you the way, personal tips and favorites included.
Ready, Set, Go
In smaller groups, you’ll explore what to expect as a student at VUB. We’ll look at the skills that can help you get off to a good start, the challenges you might face during your studies, and what you can do when things get a bit more difficult.

International Student
Are you an international student? Then we would also love to see you at the activities specifically organised for international students. Please note: these activities are in addition to the welcome programme of your study programme.
