Orientation days programme faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences
As a new student at the VUB, you will kick off the academic year during the Orientation Days. The program includes a variety of handy info sessions as well as plenty of fun activities. You will receive essential information for a strong start and get a clear picture of what lies ahead as a brand-new VUB student. And of course, you will get to know the campus facilities, your fellow students, and your professors.

What's on the agenda in the morning?
The day starts at 10:30. The day is scheduled to end at 18:00, unless your timetable indicates otherwise. We expect you to be present for the entire day.
Faculty Welcome
If this is your first time at VUB, you are very welcome to join our welcome session. You will be introduced to the content and structure of your studies, as well as the teaching and learning methods. In addition, you will get to know your fellow students and the student student association. Practical matters, such as the scheduling of your classes and exams, will also be covered.
10:30 – 12:00: We start in auditorium D.0.08. All students Educational sciences and onderwijskunde will gather here for the start of our faculty welcome session.

Ready, Set, Go! 13:30 - 14:30
In smaller groups, you’ll explore what to expect as a student at VUB. We’ll look at the skills that can help you get off to a good start, the challenges you might face during your studies, and what you can do when things get a bit more difficult. Location : D.0.05
Campus Tour 14:45 - 16:00
In an hour, we’ll get you fully familiar with your campus. Where is the cafeteria, where are the libraries, where can I ask all my questions, where are the computer rooms, and where can I do sports?
Welcome Drinks
During the Welcome Drinks, you’ll kick off your VUB journey in great company. Meet your fellow students, get to know your professors and join the rector in raising a glass to the start of the academic year. Location: Grass Steps, in front of building D.

Are you an international student? Then we'd love to see you also at the activities specifically organised for international students. Please note: this is in addition to your programme's welcome activities

- 10.00 - 12.00 Info session for Exchange students
- 13.30 - 15.30 Info session for all International students (Exchange and Degree seeking students)
