Meet all our fellows
Our fellows range from business leaders, social entrepreneurs, community activists, researchers, scientists to artists and athletes. Each and every one of them stands out for their extraordinary social merits. As such, they are a great source of inspiration for our academics and students. But not only that: they also act as our ambassadors and help spread our university's philosophy. Together they create an inclusive leadership network. Affiliated with the rectorate or a faculty, they help strengthen VUB’s societal impact through external expertise and network.

Ceremony
During a festive ceremony, VUB welcomes its new fellows and highlights their commitment to the university.
The official inauguration of the 2026 fellows will take place on 25 February 2027.
Networking moments
VUB regularly brings together its fellows, honorary fellows and partners to exchange ideas, get to know one another better and build new connections across disciplines and sectors.
On Wednesday 14 October 2026, VUB will organise a fellowship cocktail at TheMerode in Brussels, in collaboration with the Helios Foundation.
