For students
Are you struggling with stress, fear of failure, motivation or concentration problems? Are you unsure about your choice of study programme, or are you finding it difficult to cope with personal or mental health issues? Our student psychologists will listen to your story and work with you to find the support that best suits your situation. You can choose from individual support, DIY tips or group sessions on a range of topics.
For staff
Are you struggling with stress, a conflict, inappropriate behaviour, addiction, a traumatic event or other psychosocial concerns? Depending on your situation, you can turn to a range of well-being professionals and points of contact: from internal contacts and formal points of contact to external well-being partners and independent helplines.
About You Are Not Alone
At VUB, the well-being of our students and staff is a central priority. That is why we are strengthening our psychosocial well-being policy, with the ambition of making well-being the beating heart of our work by 2030. Education, research and societal engagement remain our core missions.
Through You Are Not Alone (YANA), VUB is making its psychosocial well-being support more accessible and easier to navigate, so that students and staff can find the right support more quickly. Together, we are building a community of care where everyone feels safe, heard and supported.
