Welcome to our Faculty

Our Faculty of Languages and Humanities makes the most of its location in Brussels, in the heart of Europe. This means that our education and research is strongly internationally oriented. At the Faculty of Languages and Humanities we prepare humane scientists and critical and committed citizens for a rapidly changing and complex world.

The education provided by our faculty offers numerous research tools for analysis, interpretation, and expression. We strive to open new perspectives by shining a light on differences - different times and places, cultures, but also different ways of thinking, seeing, acting, and expressing. The wide range of programmes at the bachelor's and master's level reflects the multi-faceted character of our Faculty. Welcome to our Faculty, welcome to your future!

Students who graduated from a master's programme in the academic year 2023-2024 can collect their diploma starting from December 3, 2024, at the LW Faculty Secretariat during opening hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.; closed on Wednesdays.
Please note that the secretariat will be closed from December 23, 2024 until January 1, 2025.
