Come and hit a ball in our sports complex. AT VUB you can enjoy indoor or outdoor tennis.
Our indoor courts (L4, 5 and/or 6) have a polyurethane (PU) surface. Because of the green colour of the flooring, at VUB we sometimes refer to it as the “green room”. A tennis court is 1/3 of the hall. L4 and L5 are suitable for doubles or singles. L6 is suitable for singles in pairs.
In the summer of 2020, the outdoor courts (LT1-2-3) were given a flexcourt surface, which is somewhat stiffer than traditional surfaces and allows the ball to bounce easily, resulting in a more pleasant playing experience than on indoor pitches. An additional advantage in our climate: the pitches can be played on almost immediately after rainfall.
