Admission requirements

Academic requirements

A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent is required. 
Alternatively, applicants need to demonstrate at least five years of practical experience in software engineering and system design.

Language Proficiency

ll courses are conducted in English, and course materials will also be provided in this language. 
Participants must have a medium level of technical proficiency in English to participate fully.

Practical Requirements

We recommend that applicants have access to a relatively recent computer with internet connectivity and preferably running Linux. This is necessary for completing practical assignments and accessing course materials.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): If you don’t meet these requirements, we encourage you to submit an RPL application, which will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Tuition fee*

Three rates are available

  • Jobseekers: €4000
  • Employed people: €6000
  • Reduction: for 3 or more employees in the same company - €5000 p.p. 

The registration fees cover catering, courses, documentation, access to the site and UCLouvain's facilities, including enrollment.

An 'Ă  la carte' option, allowing enrollment in multiple modules without committing to the entire certificate program, is also available. If you wish to choose this option, please contact the program coordinator to learn about the enrollment process.

  • First module: €2000
  • Additional modules: €1500
