Admission requirements

As a general rule, every study programme comes with its own set of conditions. You will find all the requirements for your chosen programme by clicking 'admission requirements' under the 'programme' tab.

Prospective students should always apply directly to the master's programme, not the preparatory programme.

Which degree is required?

Direct admission

Prospective students with a Flemish 'Bachelor of Science in de ingenieurswetenschappen' or a 'Bachelier Ingénieur Civil' have direct admission to the programme. If you are eligible for direct admission, the criteria listed under “admissions after screening” do not apply to you.

Admissions after screening

Prospective students with different degrees will undergo an evaluation based on their academic background, results, motivation, and language skills and can enter the programme via a 21 or 27 credit preparatory programme. The preparatory programme is obligatory for all students (except those with a Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering).

This programme is designed for prospective students who have an academic bachelor's or a master's degree but no prior academic experience in business, economics, and/or management.  Prospective students with the following degrees will not be eligible:

  • Business Administration
  • International Business
  • Commerce
  • Management
  • Business Economics

In such cases, you might be a better-suited candidate for our Master in International Business programme.

Prospective students should always apply directly to the master's programme, not the preparatory programme.

Grade Requirements

As a general rule, we only accept students with a GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0, or 70% average or higher for this programme.

The tuition fees for the academic year 2026–2027 are subject to potential changes, in light of the budgetary proposals put forward by the Flemish Government; particularly with regard to the funding of internationalisation initiatives, international mobility, and the opening up of our education system to non-native speakers.
