Postgraduate certificates

With a postgraduate programme at the VUB, you can broaden and deepen the competencies you have already acquired. The course is worth at least 20 study points and has a strong focus on the actual skills you need in the workplace.

Permanent training

Permanent training is a short or long-term educational pathway, which is intended to update your professional knowledge. It keeps you up to date with the most recent insights, legislation, procedures and discoveries.

Micro-credentials

Would you like to acquire new, additional competencies, or update your professional knowledge? Micro-credentials are short-term programmes covering one or more courses. Depending on the offering, you take them in Dutch or English. After completion, you receive a certificate.

Would you rather have an extra diploma?

Of course, you also have the option of VUB’s general programmes. Because what would be the point of ‘lifelong learning’ if you couldn’t get a bachelor’s or master’s as a professional? To keep the work-study combination manageable we offer various bachelor’s and master’s programmes in evening and/or weekend classes. All through a flexible pathway, and you decide the intensity.

For civil servants

Can you, as a federal civil servant, use the promotion procedure to progress to level A? If so, you must pass 4 subjects in a master’s programme at a university or college. Find out how that works at VUB.
