Are you ready to start?
Step 1 - Activate your VUB account
Did you sign the online study contract? Then you will receive instructions via e-mail (within the hour) to activate your VUB account. This VUB e-mail address and password gives you access to all VUB platforms and portals.
Step 2 - Certificates / transportation passes
Within 48 hours you will also receive your enrolment certificate via e-mail (pdf) and your student card, along with a paper version of your enrolment certificate, will be sent to your postal address. Official address not in Belgium? Then you can pick your student card up on campus.
Step 3 - Register your courses
Is your VUB account activated? Then you can register your courses online, starting mid August. After they have been registered, they will appear in your Canvas dashboard. Attention: not all students must register their own courses, in some cases this is done automatically.
Step 4 - Pay your tuition fees
The tuition fee invoice is sent at the end of September at the earliest, to your VUB e-mail address. Don't worry, you can start your programme even if you haven't received or paid the invoice yet.
Step 5 - Come to the orientation days
We expect you in the week of 14 September at your faculty's orientation. On the schedule are info sessions, a campus tour, perhaps some mandatory language tests, calibration tests and a welcome drink. Enrol here for the Orientation days (only at the start of the 1st semester).
